Where it all began…

Our Story

River Valley Soccer Club is located in Parkersburg, West Virgina and is home to a number of boys and girls travel teams ranging betwee 8U and 15U. Founded in 2005, we are growing leaps and bounds as we’ve celebrated many successful teams advancing to West Virgina State Competition and Eastern Regionals (New Jersey). We are dedicated to helping our young generation attain new levels of competition in the sport while also teaching them the fundamentals of leadership, perseverance, sportsmanship, and building character.

Our governing body is the West Central Soccer Association (WCSA) and we are affiliated with the Parkersburg Soccer Club, which is the recreational league that feeds a lot of talent into our travel program.

RVSC’s beginnings in the early 2000’s stemmed from the need for our teams to find more competition on the pitch. The birth of our travel league has provided great opportunities for talented young athletes not only to hone their skills but also find themselves very competitive at the collegiate level.

Located in a very convenient location, our complex has a team dedicated to maintaining well-groomed fields tediously groomed to suit all of our age groups. We are eager to grow the program even more into a top-notch center for outdoor soccer.
